Christmas has arrived in Forest School this week !!!! Our Three Year Old Nursery children had lots of fun searching for shiny baubles to decorate some of the trees with, which we noticed had lost their leaves because it is now winter. We used our fine motor skills to hang the decorations on the branches which helps to develop our hand eye coordination and strong fingers ready for writing, using scissors doing up zips using a knife and fork etc Then we worked together to decorate the little Christmas trees using natural materials such as conkers, pine cones, pieces of wood and glass stones. The children have done a fabulous job bringing Christmas to the Forest and loved exploring more on their own this week
