Nursery
As part of the Kings Coronation celebrations the children in the Isobel Room took part in the ‘The Big Help Out’ to encourage people across the country to look after their communities and environment by helping to keep it clean and tidy.
We decided to tidy up all the litter in Forest School that had been thrown through the fence by people walking past. We wore gloves to make sure we didn’t get any germs on our hands and worked hard together to collect all the rubbish. We talked about how important it is to put rubbish in the bin and to look after the place we live so that it is nice for everyone and safe for the animals that live there also. We were amazed at the amount of rubbish we found empty cans, crisp packets, chocolate bar wrappers milk cartons and lots more!!! Well done Nursery you all deserved your special ice cream treat to say thanks for all your help!
Reception
Reception read some Eco stories, thought about ways we can reuse old things and had a tidy in the garden as well as a litter pick!
