STEM Club – Today, we started to build our apprentice level model cars. We used rulers and lolly pop sticks to make a jig to mark out where our wheels and axles were going to be. We punched holes in the card using a hole punch. We also measured wooden dowels and used a bench hook and razor saw to cut them to size. Next week, we will chamfer the edges, add spacers and attach the wheels before decorating. We also created models using Meccano and Lego kindly donated by Mrs Bell.
