Unfortunately, our annual residential to Thurston had to be cancelled. So Ms Atherton, Mr Gilmore and Miss Graham who were due to go to Thurston with the Year 5’s and 6’s organised a week of activities for the children including a visit to the climbing wall, a mini medics first aid session, a yoga morning, a scavenger hunt around Newcastle and a ferry trip and walk to Tynemouth Longsands for fish and chips.

This is a day in Newcastle carrying out a City Scavenger Hunt. It involved lots of geographical work! Surveys, following a map, thinking about why certain features were where they are in the City? Looking at the River Tyne and the Castle Keep.
