This week in Forest School our 3 Year Old Nursery children read an autumn story called ‘The Lost Acorns’ about a squirrel who forgot where she had hidden the acorns she had collected for her long winter sleep. We then went to Forest School to search for Autumn treasures such as conkers pine cones and leaves. We used to make Autumn faces. This was our new friends first trip to Forest School and it was lovely that our older children took such care of them and helped them to feel safe and confident exploring this new setting. Everyone deserved a warm hot chocolate and biscuit to say well done on our first Forest School adventure of the year. We will be going to Forest School every Friday 🐿🌰 🌳
