This year we have a magnificent 3 netball teams representing the school, which really shows how much the children value their PE and sport.
All 3 will compete this week at Temple Park to attempt to qualify for the South Tyneside finals.
Yesterday the first 2 teams to compete both qualified successfully. Reaping the benefits of giving up their Monday nights and some lunchtimes since October!!
We’ve all got our fingers crossed for the final team competing on Thursday !!

Update

Yesterday our final netball team took to the court in an attempt to become the 3rd team this week to qualify for the South Tyneside final. Unfortunately for the team they were up against some very strong teams, themselves included in what was a really high standard of netball from of all the teams involved.

The team showed good quality and fantastic resilience throughout the competition. However they narrowly missed out on qualification.

They should be as I was, still very proud of their efforts
