Today we celebrated Shrove Tuesday in the 3 year old nursery. After reading the story The Runaway Pancake we decided to make some pancakes too. We looked up a recipe then gathered all of the ingredients and equipment we needed. We took turns to sieve the flour, crack the eggs, pour in the milk and whisk it all together. We then choose different toppings including chocolate spread, honey, lemon, sugar and golden syrup! They were delicious and enjoyed by all 🥞🍋🍫🍯
