Year 4 had a fantastic visit to Arbeia Roman Fort today. They had a tour of the fort where they had to pretend to be Roman soldiers. They then became archaeologists where they found many artefacts from Roman times. They also explored the museum, the West Gate and the Commanding Officer’s House. It was even sunny enough to enjoy packed lunches outside!
