For Black History Month, we have been learning about the life of Lilian Bader. Lilian Bader was born in 1918 in Liverpool. She went on to become one of the very first black women to join the British Armed Forces. She was an activist and fought bravely against racial prejudice in the RAF. Her hard work and determination paid off, and shaped the lives of others. We thought that she was a very hard working and resilient lady, and a great role model.
