Today in Nursery Three’s we checked our shopping list to make sure our friends had bought all the right ingredients in Tesco to make cupcakes, which we will be selling at the Macmillan Coffee Morning. We weighed the sugar and butter, cracked and beat the eggs, sieved the flour before adding a few drops of vanilla. Then we gave everything a really good good mix. We spooned the mixture into paper cases then watched the cakes rise in the oven and turn golden. When the cakes were cooked and cooled we decorated with icing and sprinkles. We are looking forward to seeing you at our coffee morning and hope you enjoy our cakes. The money raised will go to Macmillan to help children and grown ups who are unwell.
