Our 3 Year Old Nursery children enjoyed a visit to Forest School to help Farmer Bob find his missing animals when he fell asleep in the story ‘Fergus the Farmyard Dog’ and left the farm gate open. The only clue the children had was the sound each animal makes. They had to listen carefully to the sound then work out which animal it was from the sound and then search in the bushes and trees to find the correct animal from a selection. Once we had found them all the children used sticks to create a fence around the animals so they couldn’t escape again. It was hard work and we enjoyed a well deserved hot chocolate and biscuit 🐖 🐄 🐑 🐓 🐎
