In D&T, Year 3 have been designing and creating castles. We looked at the features of a castle and discovered that in the past, castles were built to protect the inhabitants from invasion. We worked in teams to design and create a model castle using a range of junk modelling materials. We also experimented with drawing nets and assembling 3D shapes. The finished results were impressive and our teamwork was brilliant!
