Year Three took part in the Primary Engineer competition during British Science Week. They had to answer the question- If I were an engineer, what would I do? As part of the task they had to learn about careers in engineering and interview an engineer. They then had to invent a new and exciting product to help solve a problem. Their work was sent to the panel of judges from companies across the country. This week we received our certificates. We all passed but also got merits and distinctions. A special well done to Phoebe and Nancy who got a distinction and were shortlisted to the final! Their work will be on display at Sunderland University next week. Young engineers of the future!
